Kelley Country Creamery Tours
Kelley Country Creamery offers fun and informative tours of the farm and farmstead creamery. All educational, civic, private, motor coach and interested parties are invited to come for a totally new ice cream experience. See and learn about our farmstead ice cream and our 149 year old dairy farm, now in its fifth generation.
Due to the overwhelming response to our farm and creamery tours, we will not be scheduling tours until 2011. Please check this website in January for more information.
Creamery Tour
Kelley Country Creamery offers tour of our newly constructed ice cream making facility which overlooks the lush green pasture of our family farm. On the tour you will capture the entire ice cream process as you gather in the ice cream making room and learn first-hand how real ice cream is made. Enhance your tour by creating your very own flavor! We’ll even begin making it during your stay at the creamery. Premium ice cream needs to season so a coupon will be given to each tour participant which can redeemed at the Creamery within two weeks to purchase a pint of their personally created flavor.
The tour is approximately 30 minutes and may vary with size and age of group. Tours are by reservation only.
Farm Tour
Explore the Kelley Farmstead with a wagon ride across our 200 acre farm. You’ll pass over farm pastures and cropland and get to meet our 65 Holstein cows and their young stock.
Find out the history of our very Irish dairy farm and learn about the care that goes into the cows so they can produce the fresh wholesome milk needed to process our own specialty ice cream.
The tour is approximately 45-60 minutes and may vary with size and age of group. Tours are by reservation only.
